As a tribute to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, TV series The Power Source has gathered 12 stars to play a group of elites striving for the rise of China's equipment manufacturing industry.
With award-winning veteran director Mao Weining as the chief director and Wang Cheng as the scriptwriter, the TV series stars actors Yang Shuo, Hou Yong and actresses Jiao Junyan and Ying'er.
The Power Source is scheduled to run on multiple platforms, including Hunan Satellite TV and its streaming site Mango TV in the second half of this year.
The drama is currently being shot during the pandemic resurgence. Director Mao revealed that the crew has endeavored to overcome difficulties, exemplified by using drones to capture spectacular aerial scenes featuring large-scale industrial facilities.
