Handwritten notes bring warmth during the lockdown

・ A Japanese expatriate left a note on the stray cats in his area before returning to his home country. He wrote, "I haven't seen my family members in Japan for more than two years, but luckily I encountered these lovely cats in China and drew comfort from them." Residents in the community later put up their replies to him.

・ Community workers in Huangpu district put out this note notifying couriers and delivery people that they could take some free bread and milk daily. This campaign was crowdfunded by the residents to express their gratitude to delivery people who spend their days and nights ensuring that daily essentials are delivered.

・ A neighbor made a birthday cake and sent a handwritten note with wishes for a girl who could not have her birthday cake due to the lockdown.
