China Soong Ching Ling center and taekwondo body to deepen ties

The China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese Taekwondo Association on Dec 30 to deepen the collaboration between both sides including in physical education, curriculum research and international exchanges.

Guo Xinbao, director of the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People, said the move will help better coordinate the study and the physical exercise of minors for their healthy growth and further enrich the educational services provided by the center.

We hope to bring out the best the two sides could offer to each other to cultivate young talents that can shoulder the responsibility of realizing the country's great rejuvenation, he said.

Guo Jianmin, president of the Chinese Taekwondo Association, said that he hopes that both sides can carry out cooperation in fostering young taekwondo talents, pushing forward the development of the juvenile physical education industry, holding high-quality competition and boosting culture and sports exchanges between China and foreign countries.
