Theme parks highlight Chinese culture

Chinese theme park operators have expressed their desire to continue the innovative development model featuring culture and tourism integration after the recent national conference of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Writers Association.

President Xi Jinping said cultural workers need to have firm confidence and ambition to create fine works that present Chinese values and philosophies to the rest of the world and reflect the common values of humanity.

The Overseas Chinese Town said it would maintain cultural confidence and national spirit and create more works.

The company has rolled out a variety of culture and performance pieces over the years. Its stage dramas featuring ethnic culture in Yunnan province, such as Ashima and Dream Tengchong, have packed in 1.2 million viewers annually. OCT has also developed multiple performances featuring the country’s revolutionary spirit this year.

Fantawild has also made a point of integrating Chinese cultural elements into its customer experiences. The domestic theme park operator has developed two facilities built on the back of the country's red tourism drive.
