Over 50 Chinese publishers to take part in Frankfurt Book Fair

The 73rd Frankfurt Book Fair will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from Oct 20 to 24. Frankfurt Book Fair is one of the most important platforms for Chinese publishing industry to export copyright.

China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation (CNPIEC) is helping 51 Chinese publishing companies to participate in a combination of offline and online ways, exhibiting 1,007 titles and 1,495 volumes of high-quality publications.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest publishing fair. Last year, it was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's book fair will be based on offline exhibitions, combined with online platforms. Publishers from more than 60 countries and regions participate in the exhibition, and Asian countries such as the Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia have confirmed their participation in the offline book fair.

During the book fair, CNPIEC will present excellent books from 51 domestic publishing houses, covering literature, social science, traditional culture, children's and so on.

In addition to President Xi Jinping's important works and related books, CNPIEC will also display published works that introduce traditional Chinese culture, contemporary literature and children's picture books.

During the fair, Chinese publishers will hold 59 activities both online and offline, including book recommendation, Sino-foreign copyright trade fair, and new book promotion.
