The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China that usually takes place between End of Heat and Autumnal Equinox, two of the 24 solar terms. On Nov 30, 2016, UNESCO officially inscribed China’s “24 solar terms” on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Under the “Mid-Autumn Festival: A Moonmoment to Remember,” this program aims to tell stories about the solar terms including Start of Autumn, End of Heat, White Dew, Autumnal Equinox, Cold Dew, and Frost Descent to overseas audiences with various forms of animated videos featuring child voice actors and subtitles in seven languages such as English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, and Korean.
