New TV series explores lives of urban women

A new TV series entitled The Rational Life, focusing on urban working women, is due to premiere on Hunan Satellite TV on March 31.

Starring actresses Qin Lan and Bao Wenjing and actors Wang Hedi and Li Zonghan, the show aims to faithfully present the everyday lives of urban women in their thirties, their journeys of self-discovery and their relationships.

The plot centers on career woman Shen Ruoxin, who struggles for self-improvement while receiving unfair treatment in the workplace and facing family pressure in getting married.

Starting March 31, the series will be broadcast on Hunan TV and video streaming platform Mango TV every Monday to Thursday.
