Immersive outdoor light exhibition kicks off in Beijing

The 2021 Beijing International Light Festival's Alive Together: Blue Space immersive outdoor light exhibition kicked off on Thursday in Beijing Yuyuantan Park.

Themed "Alive Together", the exhibition, which focuses on water elements, is divided into 15 sections. More than 12,000 point light sources and 2000-meter-long LED light strips are used.

The producing team tries to break the barriers of different visual effects by fusing stage lighting, environmental art and installation art to bring the audience a visual feast.

It's the second edition of the exhibition. In 2020, the inaugural 128-day exhibition attracted over 60,000 visitors and was selected among the top 10 culture consumption original creative content on Beijing's cultural consumption brand list organized by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.

The exhibition will last till Oct 10.
