In March 2021, the Hani Yang family picks spring tea on Nannuo Mountain in Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province.
By the end of 2020, the tea planting area of Yunnan was about 4,800 square kilometers, ranking first in China. Pu'er tea is the main type of tea cultivated here, accounting for nearly 50 percent of total output and half of tea products in Yunnan, followed by black tea.
