Sidorov spent some first few years of his childhood in a village in central Russia. He committed himself to hailing the idyllic beauty and serenity of the extensive landscapes of his homeland.
He once said, "Hometown is nature, of four seasons, it is in the fields, it is people.
"Only one who loves nature and life is truly a man."
Sidorov showed his works at the National Art Museum for several times and donated five paintings to the museum.
