China Disabled People's Arts Troupe was established in 1987. It is a professional performing troupe subordinated to China Disabled Persons' Federation.
Since August, 1998, putting into the test run and the performance to the public for ten months, the Shanghai Grand theater has successively held various kinds of theatrical performances for opera, ballet, symphony orchestra, large-scale comprehensive art festivals etc.
The Beijing People's Art Theater was founded in June 12, 1952. Its first president was drama master Cao Yu. The theater has presented more than 300 different styles and different forms of dramas.
