Enjoy Today Art Musuem's grand triennial in Beijing

Want to jazz up your weekend with some contemporary art? If you do, you should definitely put Today Art Museum on your agenda!

Currently hosting its fourth triennial, Today's Documents, co-curated by Chinese art critic Huang Du and British art historian Jonathan Harris, the Beijing museum is presenting artworks, including installations, paintings, sculptures, and collages, by 37 artists and art groups from 16 countries in two of its buildings.

Inspired by global problems such asexacerbating pollutions, refugee crisis, and trade tensions in the context of globalization, the show is themed after "A Stitch in Time", a saying meaning thata timely effort will prevent more work later. Harris, the co-curator, said in an interview that he believes art can"make a serious difference" in terms of raising the public awareness and addressing those problems.

The exhibition runs through March 15.
