Sci-fi drama Gone with the Light hits theaters today

What if a broad shaft of light fell on a city and took away many people? What if those missing are said to be truly in love? What will await those left in the city?

A new sci-fi drama film Gone with the Light, directed by famed screenwriter Dong Runnian, imagines such a scenario, giving rise to fear, suspicion and betrayal among surviving civilians who are trying to unravel the mystery.

Featuring a stellar cast including Golden Horse Award-winning actor Huang Bo and A-list actresses Wang Luodan and Tan Zhuo, the film is one of the most highly anticipated films slated for December.
