The annual Food and Culture Festival was held at the Chinatown in Mauritius from May 5 to 6, offering a gourmet feast to people in the island nation in the Indian Ocean.
Co-hosted by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Mauritius, Chinese embassy in Mauritius and China Cultural Center in Mauritius, the festival entered its 14th year after first being established in 2005.
In addition to authentic Chinese cuisine, the festival also showcased acrobatic performances by a troupe from North China's Tianjin, dance and martial arts shows by students from the Chinese culture center in Mauritius, as well as performances by local Mauritian artists.
