Main Tasks:

1. Supervision

The office is committed to implement the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party of China to comply with laws and regulations; carry out the State Council’s decisions and comments; to maintain the party’s political discipline for the party and individuals in the Ministry of Culture; to implement democratic centralism; to select and appoint leaders and cadres; to fight against corruption and enforce the party’s responsibility system and to supervise the governance of the ministry.

2. Inspection The office is committed to accept and handle reports, accusations and appeals against the party or individuals in the ministry; to check and verify relevant problems and issues and to participate in the inspection of corresponding cases. The office will also inspect cases where cadres of departmental directorship in the ministry violate CPC party discipline and other important cases.

3. Assistance and coordination

The office is also committed to assist and coordinate anti-corruption work and the construction of ethical and clean governance with other party groups and leading organizations in the ministry.
