The opening gala for the 2026 Happy Chinese New Year cultural events in Sri Lanka was held last week at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre in Colombo, marking the beginning of a series of celebrations ahead of the traditional Chinese holiday.
Launched in Tunis, Tunisia on Saturday, the two-day event is themed around the Chinese New Year and the Ancient Silk Road.
With the Chinese Year of the Horse approaching, the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, has already galloped across the United Arab Emirates (UAE), racing into cities and campuses alike.
As part of the "Happy Chinese New Year" activities in Toronto, the two-day event kicked off here on Saturday with the participation of some 50 exhibitors.
