The second Fuzhou Creative Design Week opening ceremony was held at the “Three Lanes and Seven Alleys,” a landmark of Fuzhou city, on August 13.

“Fu,” as the theme of the design week and exhibition, means happiness and blessing in Chinese. Designers and artists from both Taiwan and the Chinese mainland shared their unique understandings of “fu” culture and converted it into exquisite artworks.

Inspired by “fu” culture, designers demonstrated their creative ideas with tea sets, potteries and wood crafts.
