Canadian scholar shares a timeless Chinese poem beneath a distant sky

"Over the sea grows the moon bright. We gaze on it far, far apart." Canadian scholar Jamie Mulholland, who teaches at Renmin University of China, recites lines from Tang Dynasty (618-907) poet Zhang Jiuling's Looking at the Moon and Longing for One Far Away. Penned some 1,300 years ago, the poem's verses still shine beneath the night sky, bridging hearts across distant lands.
