US Sinologist praises Hongshan culture as a 'new brand' on global history map

Elizabeth Childs-Johnson, a US sinologist and archaeologist, shared her understanding of the Hongshan culture on Aug 4, the eve of the 2026 Conference on Hongshan Culture. She noted that the Hongshan culture embodies distinctive Chinese characteristics,and as a “new brand” culture, it has become “another significant culture on the global map of world history”.
