2025 Maritime Silk Road International Cultural Tourism Festival opens in Quanzhou

The 2025 Maritime Silk Road International Culture and Tourism Festival kicked off in Quanzhou, Fujian province, on December 11.

The event is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Fujian province.

This year's festival is themed "Silk Road Symphony: Connecting the World" and delves deeply into Quanzhou's rich "Maritime Silk Road Culture".

The opening ceremony and the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Fashion Show blended traditional performing arts and modern aesthetic expressions from various countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road. It presented the audience with a cultural feast that connects China and the world, embodying the spirit of harmony in diversity.
