Wuhan celebrates cultural cornucopia

For example, the C Art Festival, recently held from May 1-5, added to Wuhan's festive atmosphere during the Labor Day holiday.

Curated by Lu Yiwei and Yuan Sansan, the festival was designed as an immersive experience, where visitors would be reminded of the city's distinctive past and meanwhile, embrace its globalized vision of art. The main venue, where art produced by Chinese and overseas artists, was on show, was formerly a garage. Plays and dance workshops were also part of the lineup.
