Shule county boosts tourism efforts

Visitors can immerse themselves in the culture and history of Shule through exhibitions featuring notable historical figures, local folk customs and the intangible cultural heritage of various ethnic groups in the county.

In his famous book Great Tang Records on the Western Regions, Tang Dynasty (618-907) Buddhist monk Xuanzang records his journey to Shule, detailing the region's weather, biodiversity, numerous Buddhist temples and monks.
