Fragrance of ink and serene mood under the brushwork of a lover of colors

Jia's ongoing exhibition at China National Academy of Painting shows some 130 pieces of art reviewing his endeavors in the flower-and-bird tradition.

Either drawing with meticulous delimitation or with loose brush strokes, Jia seeks to explore the changes of layering and shading. When showing the vibrancy of nature, the painter also conveys a mood of tranquility in his world of art and tradition.
