Aside from the main exhibition at Jing'an Sculpture Park, the sculptures will be placed at six public spaces, such as the Jing'an Kerry Center, and HKRI Taikoo Hui on Nanjing Road West, as well as the Shuangyong Park by the Suzhou Creek.
A series of other events will take place during the exhibition, engaging wider members of the public.
"We have been holding the JISP every other year since 2010, because we have strong faith in the power of art, and believe having sculptures in the urban public spaces will build real connection between art, the city and people," said Zhang Xifei, head of the Jing'an district administration of landscaping & city appearance.
