Chinese lanterns illuminate 'Lanternia' festival in Cassino, Italy

Crafted with precision and artistry, each lantern represents the rich heritage of lantern-making techniques in China. These lanterns are handcrafted by artisans from Zigong, one of the major producers of Chinese lanterns in Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Enhancing the festival's splendor is its commitment to environmental consciousness and sustainability. According to its organizers, the lanterns are crafted with silk, a material known for its low environmental impact. Moreover, energy-saving LED lights illuminate the displays.

The festival will run through March 10, 2024.
