The Chinese National Academy of Arts is hosting an exhibition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Institute of Literature and Art, which is under the academy.
The exhibition will be held at the China Traditional Culture Museum up to Dec 20.
The exhibition is showcasing more than 200 works by 67 artists covering a wide range, including literature and theater, fine art, calligraphy and photography, porcelain and design.
Mo Yan, the Noble literature prize winner, also an academy member, gave his calligraphy works to the exhibition and Zhu Legeng has presented his renowned porcelain works.
Photographer Hei Ming is offering two collections. One is Xinyaozi village in north China, where the photographer has visited more than 50 times in the last 20 years to record its change and development through his lens. The other series is portraits of nearly 200 soldiers around 100 years old who fought in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-1945).
