The serene skyline of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, and the many historic buildings which have adored the city for centuries keep drawing visitors at home and abroad.
Members of the Communication University of Nanjing are offering people an innovative way to appreciate these buildings. Collaborating with experts of digital arts, they have created digital images for these vivid testaments of Nanjing's history and culture by using the holographic projection, and are presenting them at the Beijing Design and Art Expo, running at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center from Nov 9-12.
A closing event to conclude this year's Beijing Design Week, the expo gathers members from universities, design, areas of digital technology and food industry. On show are proposed solutions to future integration between design and digital technology, art, environment, productions of food and lifestyle. It is a journey of sense to rediscover the values of tradition when new ways of presentation are introduced.
