The performance consisting of five chapters took place at the ground floor lobby and corridors from the ground level to the third floor of the Shanghai Museum and brought to audiences an immersive experience of the arts and aesthetics of Liangzhu from 5,000 years ago.
During the event, the administrative committee of the Liangzhu Culture Site released a collection of eight core colors that were extracted from the archaeological discoveries of the Liangzhu Site, including pale beige with black spots or stripes, different shades of yellow, green and gray found in the jade pieces, and a brownish pink taken from the pottery powder.
According to Yang Xiaoping, deputy director of the committee, these eight unique colors of Liangzhu reflect the elegance, richness andsimplicityof Chinese aesthetics and will be used in new lifestyle designs in the future.
