A female orchestra from 1,000 years ago was brought back to life in the form of dramas, showcasing the lively music of the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
The orchestra was 24 carved figures of female musicians and dancers from the royal tomb of Wang Jian (847-918), the first emperor of former Shu state, now settled in the Chengdu Yongling Museum in Sichuan province.
