CPC anniversary celebrated with concert

The Tianjin Symphony Orchestra gave a concert at the Tianjin Grand Theater on June 28, marking the 102nd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China on July 1.

An original Chinese symphonic poem, titled Great Wall, premiered during the concert.

Composed by Zhang Qianyi, the music piece featured choir and solo singers performing with the orchestra, which is an ode to the country and its people.

A 300-people choir, consisting of three choirs from Beijing and Tianjin, was a highlight of the performance.
