Beijing Wtown has rolled out a range of new experiences for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day (May 20), Children's Day and Father's Day during May 10 - June 30.
Special photography sites have been arranged for guests to take selfies at, including beautiful murals and an arch made of flowers, as well as a decorative magpie bridge (a symbol of love).
Different scenes pertinent to the nature of the festivals will be prepared, according to the water town that sits in Miyun district, northeastern Beijing.
Live music performances will be staged for young lovers, and intangible cultural heritage experiences, such as kite and lantern making and tie-dyeing, are in place to spice up visitor experiences.
Nestled at the foot of the Great Wall, Wtown has also integrated the natural setting with gourmet food by offering special afternoon tea sessions, where guests can sip tea whilst surrounded by the river and cicada singing.
