Water town stages spring carnival

The water town of Wuzhen in Tongxiang, Zhejiang province, unveiled its two-month-long spring carnival on April 1. [Photo provided to China Daily]

Lots of local activities will be staged, including a market on boats, a boat parade decorated with lanterns, acrobatic performances, blessing ceremonies at multiple temples and a food market.

An art show featuring young sculpture artists will be held during the carnival. It will last from April 11 to May 31.
