Expats experience festive atmosphere at temple fair in Hubei

Tom and Sarah, two university teachers with the China Three Gorges University, visited the Xiling Temple Fair in Yichang, Central China's Hubei province, to experience the lively atmosphere of Chinese New Year.

Dressed in hanfu (a traditional Chinese style of clothing), they joined the local New Year parade, watched Peking Opera performances, learned Chinese paper-cutting and more.
