Toward Rejuvenation, an exhibition on at the China National Academy of Painting in Beijing until Nov 8, brings together over 300 recent works, including oil paintings, Chinese ink paintings, prints, sculptures and items of calligraphy and seal engraving, by its resident artists to mark the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
It shows the spectrum and diversity of the country's development over the decade, as well as the changing mentality of people and their emotions when facing different life scenarios.
The exhibition covers themes such as the Belt and Road Initiative, poverty elimination and the Yellow River protection to present a reliable and true image of China and its people.
