Terry – Birds, Brit and Beijing

Terry, a British wildlife conservationist, found that Beijing is heaven for bird watching. In the Beijing Swift Project, Terry collaborated with a number of experts and fit geolocators on the Beijing swifts. The project revealed that after the swifts leave Beijing in summer, they travel all the way to southern Africa for the northern winter. During his 12 years in Beijing, Terry devoted himself to advocating that Beijing is not only an international metropolis but has a spectacular diversity of birds and wildlife.
