Tina – Mastering Chinese stand-up comedy

Tina, who is originally from Russia, has grown up in Beijing since she was 5 and has been passionate about traditional Chinese culture. After her unexpected encounter with Yan Jiabao, a professional Xiangsheng (comic dialogue) performer, she started her journey learning the traditional art form. Tina’s inspiration comes from city strolling and conversations with different people. She combines Eastern and Western cultures in her work to strike a chord with audiences from different cultural backgrounds.
