Chinese designs unveiled at World Expo Dubai

As part of the creativity events organized by the China Cultural Center, the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts has brought works and photos to the World Expo Dubai to share its approach to Chinese design.

A section shows posters and music videos created by teachers and students at the Guangdong academy in 2020 amid the ongoing campaign against COVID-19. Another section reviews the working process of a team designing Bing Dwen Dwen, the mascot of the recently concluded Beijing Winter Olympics.

Also on show are works from graduates showing how the academy integrates social concerns into its curriculum and prepares students for meeting social needs in their careers. The expo will end March 31.
