The Craft: Xuan brush, an essential tool for beautiful writing

The renowned Xuan writing brush, along with Xuan paper, is made in Jingxian county of East China's Anhui province. The brushes, elaborately made from brown rabbit hair, are considered the best of their kind.

"I try to explore the art of making the Xuan writing brush, to let more people know about this craft that has lasted for more than 2,000 years," said She Zhengjun, an inheritor of Xuan brush creation. Watch to find out how to make this fine brush that enables neat and free writing.
