As the cultivation of a young curatorial team is one of the commitments of art institutions, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has for years sponsored a program to award well-acclaimed exhibitions curated by people under the age of 45 at art museums across the country.
Deserve the Favorable Environment, an exhibition which ended on Nov 3 at the National Art Museum of China, sets an example in the respect. It brings together 84 paintings, sculptures, prints and photos chosen by young curators from the National Art Museum's collection to mark Chinese endeavors in socialist construction and to restore the natural environment, over the past seven decades.
