Play highlights construction in China's central and western regions

The play was written by Wu Tong from Beijing People's Art Theater, and directed by Gu Wei, also from Beijing People's Art Theater, and young director Wang Yi.

The two directors integrated regional cultural features of Sichuan such as songs, slang and songs into the play, which made the play more realistic and interesting.

Famous actors such as Zong Ping, Gong Lijun, Wang Xinyu from China's National Theatre and Beijing People's Art Theatre play major roles in the drama.

Deyang, located at the northeast edge of Chengdu, Sichuan province, has grown from a small county of 40,000 people to the third industrial base of heavy machinery and large power generation equipment in China through "Third Front" construction.
