Female students get a lesson in soccer tactics from their coach Qian Hui at Shanghai Meilong Middle School recently.

The middle school's team was established 21 years ago and has blazed a path to glory since then. It has won a number of tournaments and competitions both in Shanghai and across the country.

Many of its former players have gone on to play for numerous clubs and the national team.
