Last year, the Sinan Books and Duoyun Bookstore family added a new member in a former Orthodox church on Gaolan Road.

Another new member of the bookstore family in Shanghai is the Déjà Vu store. One of the most popular second-hand trading e-platforms in China, Déjà Vu has been popular on social media since its establishment three years ago.

In June Déjà Vu opened its first brick-and-mortar bookstore in Beijing, and in Shanghai the store hosted a preview during construction in August, attracting many curious visitors. On Dec 26 the store officially opened at 300 Anfu Road, and also deals in second-hand clothing. The innovative business model and environmentally friendly concept generated wide public interest.
