With an assigned area as vast as 1,672 square kilometers, patrolman Buyandelger has been scaling mountains and traversing deserts in western Inner Mongolia autonomous region for more than a decade.
To honor his work, Buyandelger was made a role model by Ministry of Public Security.
Now, His story has inspired a film, titled as Patrolman Baoyin, which has opened across THE Chinese mainland on Dec 19.
Produced by Khukhebaatar, best known for the 26th Tokyo International Film Festival’s o Live and Die in Ordos, Patrolman Baoyin is directed by Yang Jin and written by Cao Kou.
Starring ethnic Mongolian actor Buyannemekh as the eponymous protagonist, the film is a suspense crime thriller.
