Chandrakant spends his retirement in Mumbai, the busiest city in India. Although Mumbai is a very dynamic city, Chandrakant still feels abandoned by the world until he meets a 10-year-old orphan Charlie in the park. Their friendship brings each other happiness.

One day, Charlie suddenly disappears in the mists of Mumbai. Chandrakant anxiously looks all over the city for Charlie because Charlie has given him the most precious thing - time.

The spring equinox heralds the awakening of the earth.

In the 2,700 year old city of Pingyao can be found city walls, built during the Ming Dynasty, that sprawl as far as the eye can see. 38-year-old residents Tao and Liangzi are a couple with a 14-year-old daughter. Since the announcement of the two-children policy, the couple, who make a living by performing at tourist attractions, decide to have the second baby.

To do so they must overcome many difficulties and concerns, such as age and health. After careful considerations, they remain intent on fulfilling their dream.

Tao says that little by little, we can, if we wish, reclaim the things that time has taken from us.
