There was a time when Chinese language was considered as an alien language by Indian people. In the later years of last century, with the rise of China as a global power, the scenario is no more the same; Chinese language took a new shape in India.
China, a global power, and world’s second largest economy, after the USA, is favorite political and economic destination for everyone. Well aware about its potential, countries across the world are looking towards with new hopes.
The 21st century witnessed new economic development and China made tangible achievements in all fields, especially the establishment of Confucius institutes across the world. But the biggest hurdle one normally faces in all these interactions is of language, because there is subtle presence of English language speakers in China.
In order to diminish the language hurdles, Chinese government is making a series efforts by promoting Chinese language in foreign colleges and universities. Never the less Chinese government had also adopted measures to promote Mandarin in India. To be very specific the passion for learning Chinese language by the Indian students is mainly due to political and economic status of China. They strongly believe that the job prospect after learning Chinese language is more promising.
