Stamps issued to commemorate 110th anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's birth

China Post issued a set of four commemorative stamps titled The 110th Anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's Birth on Aug 22, 2014.

The stamps are designed and based on historical paintings from real photos that vividly show the spirit of Deng Xiaoping in different periods of his life. These include leading the Baise Uprising with the Baise Eastern Hall in the background; attending the sixth special session of the United Nations, with the United Nations building in the background; participating in the 12th Chinese National People's Congress of the Communist Party, with the Great Hall in the background and the Speeches Made by DengXiaoping in the South with Shenzhen city in the background.

The full set of stamps are available for 5.40 yuan (US$ 88 cents). The stamps were designed by Li Zhihong and printed at the Beijing Stamp Factory.
