Comedy "The Seagull" to debut in Beijing on March 14

Two performers rehearse for the comedy "The Seagull" at Drum Tower West Theatre in Beijing, capital of China, March 9, 2014. The play, the latest workby Taiwan-based theater director Stan Sheng-chuan Lai, is an adaptation from a comedy with the same name written by Russian dramatist Anton Chekhov. It will make its debut at Beijing's Poly Theatre on March 14 together with "I Take Your Hand in Mine",another new work of Stan Lai. (Xinhua/Li Yan)
