Night market recalls traditional Shanghai nightlife

The 2014 Yuyuan OldShanghaiNight Market started yesterday in Shanghai, attracting many locals who come for a taste of summer nightlife in the good old days. During the two-week long market, which will last through Aug 24 at Yuyuan Garden, visitors will be exposed to many nostalgic customs and places, including old-stylecigarette shops, old Shanghai stylepingshu(storytelling), and street magic.
