The activity received a warm response from participants.

"The festival is giving an opportunity for expats to learn from other cultures. It's my pleasure to be part of it," said Sri Rajeevan, a 28-year-old student from Sri Lanka who's studying public health in Tsinghua.

The festival is run by the International Students & Scholars Center (ISSC) and organized by the Tsinghua University Association of Student International Communication (ASIC) and Tsinghua University Students' Association of International Culture Exchange (AICE).

The festival ends Saturday.
