Proper English
Scottish writer David Ferguson has been working with the China International Publishing Group for more than 10 years, and has published five books on China and its culture. His latest title English, Chinglish and Wronglish targets people with a basic knowledge of English in China, and "contains more than 1,000 words, phrases and expressions that are often misunderstood and regularly misused".
He does believe that studying hard, reading widely and always remembering to check online are three ways to improve. But he thinks maybe in 20 years Chinglish may be acceptable language, and he may write a new book then about it as "proper English".
